Captain’s Sticky Buns
Captain’s Sticky Buns
Thaw one loaf frozen bread dough, and slice in half lengthwise. Then cut each half into 6 pieces. Grease thoroughly bottom of tube pan (angel food pan).
Place in bottom of pan:
1/4 cup chopped nuts
2 Tbs. raisins
Place bread pieces in pan.
Blend together and sprinkle over bread pieces:
1/2 pkg. cook type butterscotch pudding mix (not instant)
1 tsp. cinnamon
In sauce pan, bring to a boil:
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 stick butter
1 Tbs. brown sugar
Remove from heat and pour over bread pieces.
Cover pan with cloth and let rise over night. Bake 30 minutes, at 350 degrees. Remove from oven, and let stand 2-3 minutes. Turn upside-down onto plate and serve
