Frozen Strawberry Delight

Step 1: Crust
1 cup flour
1/2 cup butter (softened, not melted)
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Mix ingredients by hand, until blended. Press into 8 x 8 inch pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Place on cooling rack to cool; you want crust to be able to crumble.
Step 2: Strawberry mixture
1 egg white
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 cup sugar
large Cool Whip (12 oz- use most of it)
10 oz. frozen strawberries (thawed)
Combine egg white, lemon juice, and sugar. Beat until stiff. Pour in the thawed strawberries and beat. Fold in cool whip.
Step 3: Crumble the crust. Place 2/3 cup of the crumbled crust into a 13 x 9 inch pan. Pat down crumbs enough to cover pan. Add strawberry mixture. Sprinkle rest of crumbled crust on top of mixture. Freeze 4 to 5 hours.
